A Commitment Ceremony is popular with couples who want to make a public pledge of their love for each other in the presence of their friends and family, but who do not want to or cannot become legally married. Marriage between same sex couples in Australia is not yet legally recognised, so a Commitment Ceremony holds special significance.
The Commitment Ceremony can be very similar to a wedding Ceremony. There are vows or promises made, readings and poems read, and exchanging of rings. The setting can be formal or casual, and as romantic as you want it to be. It’s your day and the Ceremony will reflect your wishes totally.

I offer the same services for a Commitment Ceremony as I do for a Wedding, without the need for a rehearsal however or any legal requirements having to be met. Along with a beautifully presented copy of your Ceremony you will also receive a Certificate to mark the occasion.
