There are many reasons why couples choose to renew their marriage vows.  There are no set rules and each couple that makes the decision to do this will do it at varying times in their marriage.

Possibly you never had the kind of wedding you’d dreamed of and you now you have the opportunity to do so.  Perhaps there’s a significant anniversary approaching and it feels the right way to celebrate your love for each other.  It might be the case where there’s been a serious illness which has been overcome or a period of separation which has now ended.  You may simply want to reaffirm your love and renew your commitment to each other.

This Ceremony can be as formal or fun as you’d like it to be.  You might choose to escape the hustle and bustle and renew your vows privately in a beautiful location, or you may want a glamorous and traditional celebration with all the trimmings.  It’s up to you.  It can be especially meaningful to include children, family and friends and as it’s celebrating your unique story, it’s a very personal ceremony.  You might like to recreate your original ceremony, using your original vows, or you may prefer to have a new ceremony written.  The decision is yours. There is no legal component to this ceremony as you’re simply renewing the original commitment you made to each other when you married.
